The Colegio Alemán Alexander von Humboldt is a company established in 1894 by German immigrants German School in Mexico City. She is now one of the largest German schools abroad worldwide. It is named after the German naturalist Alexander von Humboldt.

Training offer

History

The original school building was located on Calle Canoa and served at the beginning of the formation of 16 German -born students. Already at the turn of the century, the number of students increased tenfold almost. 1901, the school development association was founded. Two years later the new school building in the Calzada de la Piedad was obtained, and this 1918 expanded with a new building for additional student growth. After the number of students continued to grow in 1938 began with the construction of the school building in Tacubaya, which was inaugurated in 1940. Recognition as a bicultural school was carried out in 1982 by a cultural agreement between the governments of Mexico and the Federal Republic of Germany.
