Columbine is the debut album by Danish singer-songwriter Aura Dione. It was released under the label of Iceland Records on January 28, 2008 in Denmark under the label Music for Dreams, and on 27 November 2009 in Germany.

Background information

The first appeared in Denmark version of the album contained only 10 songs. On the later German publication were two new songs, Stay the Same and Lulla Goodbye, added. In addition, contains the German version of I Will Love You Monday (365 ), which was unchanged compared to the Danish original version. A later published in Denmark version of the album also contained a second CD with two new songs and a few remixes were included.

The album was recorded in Denmark with gold.

Singles

Their first single in Denmark was Something from Nothing, followed by Song for Sophie and I Will Love You Monday, which reached the courts 7, 16 and 20 of the Danish charts.

Their first single outside Denmark was a modified version of their third single I Will Love You Monday. Compared to the Danish version of the song have been added here a new chorus and other instruments. I Will Love You Monday (365 ) in Germany reached number one on the charts and went platinum. The second single was followed by Song for Sophie (I Hope She Flies ), which reached number 12 in Germany, and Something from Nothing as a download, which reached number 90.
