Aura Dione
Aura Dione or just aura bourgeois Mary Louise Joensen (born 21 January 1985 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish singer- songwriter.
Life
Aura Dione is the daughter of a Faroese - French music teacher and her Danish-Spanish man. Through her parents, who met at the Roskilde music festival, they arrived early with music, literature and art into contact, which meant that she wrote her first song at the age of five years. Auras father collects guitars, which also influenced her music career.
Her parents were hippies and sailed with her over the oceans until they, as the aura was seven years old, settled on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Bornholm, where she also attended school. As a 17- year-old she went to Australia to educate yourself musically. Here he wrote many works that were influenced by, among other things, by the Australian Aborigines. This meeting was subsequently reflected reflected in the song Something from Nothing. During this time, Dione changed their approach to the music. In 2008, she published under the label Music for Dreams in Denmark as the first single Something from Nothing, followed by Song for Sophie and I Will Love You Monday. The Universal Music Domestic Pop ( "UDP" ), a subsidiary of Universal Music, attention was drawn to Aura Dione and took them under contract. Their first single outside Denmark, I Will Love You Monday (365 ), was released on November 13, 2009 in Germany. The title made it straight into the Top 10 and eventually reaching number 1 on the German singles chart and No. 1 on the German airplay charts. Dione Columbine debut album was released on 27 November 2009 in Germany. I Will Love You Monday reached platinum status in Germany. The second single, Song for Sophie, is held a total of 22 weeks in the German charts. On 29 October, the third single from the album, Something from Nothing appeared. However, this could not match the success of its predecessors.
On October 21, 2011 Geronimo was released as the first single of the second album by the name Before the Dinosaurs. Posted Aura has the platinum-selling Number 1 hit with David Jost, who has also produced the single. Geronimo reached number one in their home, making it her most successful single in Denmark. In Germany the song reached immediately after the publication of No. 1 on the Media Control Charts. Aura Dione, making it the second Danish Act by Gitte Hænning who managed to place two number-one hits in Germany.
Their second single Friends wrote with David Jost and the American producer and songwriter team rock mafia aura. She reached the top 10 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark, reaching over 150,000 units sold gold status in Germany.
The third single from the album is In Love with the World, which could reach 5th place in Denmark, where it was published on 28 May. On 28 September 2012, the single was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The single debuted at number 59 in Germany and in Austria at # 38. In Switzerland, the single could not even place in the charts. The video was presented during the on MyVideo on September 19.

Dione has recording contracts with the major label Universal Music and the Danish record label Music for Dreams. Their style of music is in the range of pop, composed among others of folk elements and electronic accents.
