Colza oil
The Colza (Brassica rapa subsp. Oleifera ) is an oilseed in the family Brassicaceae, similar to the rape. Both the seeds and the whole plant rape, rapeseed or Rübsaat are usually called - names that are used for the parent species Brassica rapa. At the mountain road he is also called Rübssprengel.
Characteristics and use
Important differentiators for rape are the fresh green, only slightly tired, hairy leaves (as opposed to the bluish -tired, sparsely hairy of oilseed rape ) and the smaller, netzaderigen seeds, except for the extraction of rapeseed oil as a component of bird seed mixtures (such as for canaries ) are used.
