Comet Siding Spring

C/2007 Q3 ( Siding Spring ) is a comet that was discovered in 2007 by Donna Burton at Siding Spring Observatory in Australia. Siding Spring coming to Earth to 1.2 AE, the Sun to 2.25 AU. The comet was observed to January 2010 with a pair of binoculars.

Images of the comet in March 2010 show that the core could break apart.
