Features
The moths reach a wingspan of about 25 millimeters. Their forewings are gray patterned on the wing roots, according to a narrow bright tie, a wide, brown patterned tie, which connects to an almost pure, bright binding. Behind it, on the wing outer edge, the animals are re- screened dark brown and gray.

Occurrence
They live along forest edges, hedgerows but also in gardens and parks.
Way of life
Flight times and caterpillars
The gray -banded Labkrautspanner forms two generations a year, flying from late April to mid-June and from mid-July to late September. The caterpillars are from July to September ( first generation) and in June of the following year (second generation) to be found. The pupa overwinters.
