Headwater streams, creeks, and the course

In Suco Leorema (District Liquiçá ) arises from the Pahiklan and changes shortly after his name in Ermela. As Anggou it flows east and forms the border between Liquiçá and the district Ermera. In Suco Railaco Leten (District Ermera ) the Buamara springs and flows to the northwest. After his swing to the northeast it is called Baera. After the meeting of Anggou and Baera the river is called Mata Hare. In the border area of Sucos Railaco Leten, Railaco Craic and Taraco (all district Ermera ) arises from the Balele, which then flows to the northwest. Together with the Mata Hare he forms the Rio Comoro and the boundary between Liquiçá and Ermera, or Liquiçá and the district Aileu. Finally, the Comoro swings north into the Suco Comoro ( Dili District ).

In Suco Talitu (District Aileu ) arises from the Bemos, who later named Rio Beinas. After he swung in the district of Dili, it flows into close parallel to the Rio Comoro by the Suco Comoro. Just before the coast of Beinas eventually flows finally into the Rio Comoro. During the rainy season both rivers swell strong and unite much sooner to a broad river. In the dry season the water supply dried up from the mountains and there is only a broad gravel back The Rio Comoro opens Presidente Nicolau Lobato east of the airport in the Strait of Ombai.
