Conceição Geremias

Conceição Aparecida Geremias ( born July 23, 1956 in Campinas ) is a former Brazilian athlete who had achieved their greatest success at the Pan American Games in 1983 as winner of the Seven campaign. In the 21 years from 1974 to 1995 Conceição Geremias won championships in South America 26 medals, including 14 gold medals, in eleven different disciplines, including all four jumping events.

Career

At the age of 17 years Conceição Geremias won at the 1974 South American Championships three gold medals in the 100 -meter run and in two seasons, as well as one silver medal and one bronze medal.
