Condorito

Condorito is a Chilean comic figure of René Ríos Boettiger, called Pepo. She was inspired by the Disney film Saludos Amigos from the year 1942. Originally published in 1949, Condorito became popular throughout Latin America. Condorito lives in the fictional town Pelotillehue. In general, the stories end with someone falling with a onomatopoeic " ¡ PLOP! " Fainted.

The magazine is now part of the Mexican group Televisa.
