Lubumbashi International Airport

The airline Congo Express ( IATA: XY, ICAO EXY ) was a Congolese airline based in Lubumbashi. It was founded as a subsidiary of the South African regional airline South African Express (49 % share) and the Congolese investment company Bizafrika Congo on 1 February 2010.

Congo Express took on February 1, 2010 on compounds from Lubumbashi to Kinshasa and Mbuji -Mayi from Kinshasa to. 2011 increased South African Express because of huge losses from this investment. then put the airline a flight operations.

On April 17, 2010, a Canadair Regional Jet Series 200 BER is an emergency landing with painting the Congo Express, however, in use of the South African Express at the airport Windhoek in Namibia with undetectable nose wheel. In addition to low damage, there were no personal injuries.
