Conrad Eckhard
Conrad Eckhard (* March 1, 1822 in Homberg (Efze ); † April 28, 1905 ) was a German physiologist. He was for many years professor of anatomy and physiology at the University of Giessen and published occasionally by Sigmund Exner. Among his pupils were Hermann Welcker (1822-1897) and Ferdinand Adolf Kehrer ( 1837-1914 ). In 1883, Eckhard was elected a member of the Leopoldina.
