Conrado Walter

Konrad Walter SAC (Portuguese Conrado Walter, born June 19, 1923 in Bichishausen ) is retired bishop of Jacarezinho.

Life

Konrad Walter joined the Congregation of the SAC and received on 2 December 1956, the ordination.

Paul VI. appointed him Auxiliary Bishop on December 1, 1977 in Jacarezinho and Titular Bishop of Lysinia. The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil Carmine Rocco consecrated him on 2 February of next year to the bishop; José Joaquim Gonçalves were co-consecrators, Bishop of Cornélio Procópio, and Pedro Filipak, Bishop of Jacarezinho.

John Paul II appointed him on November 3, 1979, Coadjutor Bishop of Jacarezinho. After the death of Pedro Filipaks he succeeded him as Bishop of Jacarezinho. On 5 July 2000, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
