Consolata Boyle

Consolata Boyle (* in the 20th century in Dublin) is an Irish costume designer. For the costume designs of the film The Queen Boyle was nominated for an Academy Award in 2007.

Life

Boyle initially studied archeology at University College Dublin, before turning to the costume design. Boyle completed a vocational training at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. To the film she came through friends, the movies turned and whose works she made the costumes. The first major project, took over the facilities for Boyle, the 1798 gambling drama Anne Devlin by Pat Murphy your work on Lion in Winter was in 1984 -. Battle for the crown of the king was rewarded in 2002 with an Emmy Award. For the costumes of the film The Queen Boyle was established in 2007 and was nominated for an Oscar, the British Academy Film Awards. 2011 took over Boyle with the film The Iron Lady once more the costumes for a multi-award winning film about the recent English history.
