Tamara Drewe ( Tamara Drewe ) is a British comedy film directed by Stephen Frears from the year 2010 based on the graphic novel by Posy Simmonds.
Action
The story takes place in Ewedown, a fictional village in Dorset, England. Tamara Drewe, a young and attractive journalist, returns to her home village to sell the house of her deceased mother. The locals are amazed because they are their formerly very large nose has to have the operation.
Andy had awakened her interest when she was a young girl, and when he sees her now, he feels attracted to her. Tamara asks Andy, prepare the house so that they can sell it. Across the valley is occupied by the successful writer Nicholas with his wife Beth. In her house there fellow writers have rented to work in rural tranquility on their books. Two pupils from the village, Jody and Casey, throwing eggs at cars out of boredom, penetrate into Tamara's house and write on Tamara's computer emails because Jody worship their idol Ben.
After Ben and Tamara have quarreled, Nicholas begins an affair with Tamara. Meanwhile, Beth has that abandoned house wife, a friend of the writer Glen, and is killed when her husband in an accident of a galloping herd of cows, she teams up with Glen. Then the true love of Andy and Tamara is clearly and Tamara decides to remain in Ewedown.
