Constantin Schreiber

Constantin Schreiber ( born June 14, 1979) is a German journalist who has worked for German and Arabic TV channels. He is fluent in Arabic, Spanish and English.

Life

Schreiber holds a law degree (1998-2002), as well as a journalistic internship (2004-2006). He worked as a research fellow at the Reuters - University of Oxford and spent an extended period of time as a teenager in Syria, where he learned the Arabic language.

Since 2012 recorder works as a television presenter for various TV channels: in Germany for the news channel n-tv, in the Middle East in Arabic for the Egyptian transmitter ONtv.

In 2010 he published his first book sell Germany on the role of foreign investors in Germany. From 2009 to 2011 Constantin Schreiber worked as a media consultant for the Middle East in the Foreign Office. He initiated a series of German - Arab media projects, coordinated media events in Germany in the course of the Arab Spring and created guidelines of AA for the use of social media like facebook or twitter. From 2007 to 2009 Constantin Schreiber was the correspondent of the Arabic program of Deutsche Welle in Dubai. His reporting area included the Arabian Peninsula and Northeast Africa. In 2007 he produced a report from the north of Somalia. In the same year he recorded a refugee disaster off the Comoros. In 2008 he reported on the Chad-Sudan border on the local refugee drama. He accompanied many politicians on their Middle East travel, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and the former German Foreign Minister Frank -Walter Steinmeier.

2006 Constantin Schreiber worked as a reporter for the Lebanese newspaper the Daily Star in Beirut. He wrote, among other reports on Hezbollah and accompanied international aid workers in the removal of landmines in southern Lebanon. Schreiber organized photo exhibitions in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2009, he traveled together with another photographer at Lake Chad in Central Africa and created image of testimonials from the desiccating natural paradise for the exhibition " Lake Chad - Life in Transition". He also organizes international media events for the international media alliance (IMA ) eV.

Since January 2012, he moderated newscasts on n-tv. As a Middle East expert and thanks to his knowledge of Arabic, he gives the live coverage of the radio station in particular on issues of the Middle East a particular profile (see DWDL ).
