Constitution of Syria

The Constitution of the Republic of Syria (Arabic دستور سوريا ) from February 27, 2012 determined the basic functions of state government. It defines Syria as Arab traits, democratic and republican. In addition, it describes the country in line with the pan-Arab ideology as a region of enhanced Arab world and its people as an integral part of the " Arab nation ".

Older constitutions since 1930

Older versions of the constitution include a 1930 by Ibrahim Hananu ( NB) and wrote her a following Provisional Constitution of 25 April 1964 a.
