Consumer-to -Consumer ( C2C for short ) stands for (electronic) business relationships between individuals, as a clearly defined category of those relationships with companies ( B2C, C2B ) or authorities ( A2C ).

Especially in product testing and trading platforms, such as Ciao.de or e-Bay, but also in Internet forums C2C relationships are playing an increasingly more important role. By the independent opinions and experiences of consumers of all types of products and services to potential consumers can get a better picture of their purchase.

Further, one can observe that companies are increasingly recognizing the importance of the so-called viral marketing to get a picture of the consumer opinions and to use it as an improvement approach.
