Conversational Monitor System
Conversational Monitor System (CMS ) is an operating system developed by IBM. It is a single-user system and runs primarily on IBM mainframe computers inside a hypervisor such as Z / VM.
It was developed in a laboratory of IBM, the Cambridge Scientific Center, hence the acronym CMS was initially for Cambridge Monitor System. From 1972, it was marketed by IBM.
