Conversation ( s ) With Other Women is a film directed by Hans Canosa 's 2005 with Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart in the lead roles.

Action

During a wedding celebration in New York City man ( Eckhart ) invites a woman ( Bonham Carter ) to a glass of champagne, then she tells him that she no longer drink but smoke would be no problem. They start to flirt and a conversation begins. Among other things, they talk about past relationships, their combined age and the difference between lawyers and doctors. The man talks about certain memories together.

Although both know that the other is already taken, they end up together in a hotel room where they get closer and spend the night together. The woman recalled that her flight takes off back to London early in the morning. Their shared memories and revelations suggest that the two were talking about, and had already been married once.

The two left the hotel together, but rise to various taxes. The film ends in ambiguity, as they talk independently with their drivers about the future and the problem of happiness.

Special

The film uses the ' split-screen technique to German screen layout. To allow that there was during the filming of two cameras, one filmed Helena Bonham Carter, the other Aaron Eckhart. The finished film thus tells a tale of two perspectives. He was filmed in only 12 days, with a screenplay by 82 pages. The film is also an independent production and found distributors in more than 30 countries.

Conversations with Other Women premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and was subsequently shown at numerous film festivals in the world. Among the Tokyo International Film Festival, South by Southwest Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, São Paulo International Film Festival, Rio International Film Festival and also at the Hamburg Film Festival.

In the cinema the film first came to France, on June 7, 2006. In the U.S. he then appeared on 11 August 2006 and played in only 14 cities, but reached very positive reviews from the critics. In the UK, the film was later on May 18, 2007 in the cinemas.

On DVD, the film then appeared in a number of countries, such as Australia, Thailand, Spain, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Brazil, Greece, Russia and Portugal. In Germany he appeared on 30 April 2009 for the first time on DVD and Blu -Ray, under the label of MHM - Hamburg media house.
