Coopers Town

Coopers Town is the capital of Great Abaco Iceland, one of the islands of Abaco Islands, which belong to the island nation of the Bahamas. Cooper's Town is located on the second largest island of the Bahamas, and has about 900 inhabitants.

The place is the northernmost population center of the Bahamas. The first settlers came from the Cooper family, and came from the Grand Bahamas.

First industries were the cultivation of grapefruit and the reduction of Seeschwämmen, but these two industries were lost in the last century.

The most prominent residents of Coopers Town was the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, Hubert Ingraham.
