Copenhagen International Film Festival

The Copenhagen International Film Festival was one of the largest film festivals in Denmark.

It took place from 2003 to 2007 per year in Copenhagen and merged with the Natfilm festival CPH PIX to, which was held for the first time in April 2009. The festival was dedicated to European films and had an international competition. The contract awarded by a jury grand prize was the Golden Swan, which was awarded in the categories of Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography. The prize for the best film was 50,000 dkr. doped. During the festival, a film market for Danish films was held with the Copenhagen screening. In addition, seminars were held with international film directors. Among the major funders of the festival was the Danish Ministry of Culture, the City of Copenhagen and the Danish Film Institute.
