Features

The Streifenfarnblättrige gold thread is a perennial, herbaceous plant that reaches the plant height to 10 inches. It forms a light brown rhizome. The inflorescence consists of two or three flowers. The bloom and nectar leaves are colored the same. The nectar leaves are pointed, linear- lanceolate and run against her end too narrow. In its lower half is a nectary.

The flowering period is in May.

Occurrence

The species is found in the north- western North America. It grows in moist coniferous forests and swamps at altitudes 0-1500 meters.

Use

Rarely the Streifenfarnblättrige gold thread as an ornamental plant for rock gardens and bog beds is used.
