Corinna Kuhnle (2012 )

Corinna Kuhnle ( born July 4, 1987 in Vienna) is an Austrian canoeist. She is two-time world champion in slalom canoe - kayak with the One.

Career

Kuhnle is a member of since 2004 the Austrian Canoe Slalom Team. First international success in canoeing sport, she won in the same year as European vice- champion of the junior and 2005 as third on the team in both the European Championships and at the World Championships in Penrith (Australia). Since completing her education as an industrial engineer with the HTL Matura in 2006, she trained as a competitive athlete in the Austrian Army Sports Association.

2008 and 2010 Kuhnle won the bronze medal, 2010, in the team competition at the U23 European Championships. Also in 2010, she won the silver medal at the European Championships and was first at the Canoe Slalom World Championships in Ljubljana World Champion. The following year they won the World Championships in Bratislava again for themselves. In the overall World Cup in 2009 and 2010, she was second in 2011 third in the world rankings in 2010 she won the third and second place in 2011. At the Olympic Summer Games 2012 in London, she took part in the Austrian team at the canoe competitions and finished in the K-1 Finals 8th place
