Corn mazes are created as a summer pleasure ( usually until Thanksgiving used from July ) mazes in corn cultures.

On surfaces 10000-45000 m² a road network with up to three kilometers in length is possible for the visitors to take up to 1.5 hours. In order to achieve a denser vegetation ( Opaque ), the corn is sown mostly double ( criss-cross ). The labyrinth is planned as a scale diagram of paths, intersections and dead ends, and ( about 10 to 20 cm) created by milling or cutting after the first growth of the maize plants. In the design of such field mazes of different tools can be used up to the GPS technology and crops such as sunflower, hemp or millet. In addition to abstract patterns UFOs, maps, symbols, fairy-tale motifs, and the like are displayed.

Many of these mazes provide visitors with illustrated boards among other interesting facts about agriculture. They are combined with other attractions: Barefoot park, playground, sandpit, herb garden, straw castle, quizzes and contests, caves, climbing playground, petting zoo, pony rides, picnic niches or live concerts.
