CoRoT-1

CoRoT -1, formerly called CoRoT- Exo -1, is a main sequence star of spectral type G0, in which an exoplanet was discovered. This exoplanet was the first by the CoRoT mission discovered planet and was called " CoRoT- 1b ".

CoRoT -1 is located in the constellation of Monoceros and is about 1,500 light- years away from Earth. It has an apparent magnitude of 13.6 mag.
