Corpus Catholicorum (series)

Corpus Catholicorum (Corp. Cath. , CCath. , CC) (German Collection of the Catholic, Münster ( Westphalia ), 1919 et seq ) is a collection of writings of leading representatives and defenders of the Roman Catholic Church of the 16th century. The full series title is: Corpus Catholicorum: works of Catholic writers in the age of schism.

History

The series, designed as a counterpart to the book series Corpus Reformatorum, by Professor Joseph Greving (1868-1919) was announced by the University of Bonn in 1915 in the journal Theological Review.
