Corregidor (Caldera)

The volcano is Corregidor in the Philippines before the Bataan Peninsula of Luzon, between the South China Sea and the Bay of Manila.

It is a 173 meters above sea level superior volcano. The actual and much older main crater of the volcano, however, is under water. Its crater is formed by the islands of Corregidor and Caballo; it involves a caldera. The base diameter of today's classified as potentially active volcano is set to 4 km. There is no data about an eruption of Corregidor, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and the Seismology of Corregidor is classified as potentially active since 2004.
