Cosimo Rosselli
Cosimo Rosselli (* 1439 in Florence, † January 7, 1507 ) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance.
Life
Rosselli was born in Florence and was a pupil of Benozzo Gozzoli. He received his most important job in 1481, when he was invited to paint frescoes for the Sistine Chapel in Rome. He was a thorough and multifaceted painter. Fra Bartolomeo and Piero di Cosimo were his pupils.
