Coucouron

Coucouron is a commune with 848 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ), which is located in the department of Ardèche and in the Rhône-Alpes region. It belongs to the district Largentière and is the capital of the eponymous canton Coucouron.

Geography

The mountain village is situated on a high plateau in the northwest of the department.
