Count Manfred von Clary-Aldringen

Manfred Graf von Clary and Aldringens (* May 30, 1852 in Vienna, † February 12, 1928 at Castle Herrnau in Salzburg) was a politician of Austria-Hungary, longtime governor of Styria and short-term Prime Minister of Cisleithania, the Austrian half of the Habsburg Empire.

Life

Manfred, as the son of Edmund von Clary and Aldringens (1813-1894) the Bohemian princely family Clary and Aldringens. He studied law at the University of Vienna, came in 1877 in the civil service and in 1888 District Governor of the district of Wiener Neustadt.
