Courvoisier

Courvoisier is a French cognac distillery in Jarnac in the Charente department, which was founded in 1835 by Felix Courvoisier.

History

Although Courvoisier was officially established in 1835, the story is about, it is the favorite drink of Napoleon I. had, however, already the 1821 died. He is said to have visited the former distillery in the Parisian suburb of Bercy 1811. It is alleged that he had taken several barrels of the beverage in his exile on the island of Saint Helena.
