Cowie (Stirling)

Cowie 's village in the Stirling unitary authority in Scotland. It lies on the small country road B9124, about six kilometers south-east of Stirling and about two kilometers north of the A9. The census in the United Kingdom from 2001 found a population of 2387.

Cowie was originally a pit village and stone was mined in the area. It is now the site of a factory for the production of wood-based products and other light industry.
