Coyah Prefecture

Coyah is a prefecture in the region Kindia in Guinea with about 85,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean Prefectures it is after its capital, Coyah named.

The prefecture is located in the west of the country, near the Atlantic coast, and covers an area of ​​2166 km ². Formerly included the present-day prefecture Dubréka to Coyah.
