Craig Parry

Craig Parry ( born January 12, 1966 in Sunshine, Victoria ) is an Australian professional golfer of the North American PGA Tour and, with its 23 worldwide tournament successes achieved to the best known of his country.

Parry 1986 professional golfers and celebrated his first victory in 1987 at the New South Wales Open, followed by the Canadian TPC in the same year. In 1992, he won three of the four major tournaments in Australia, the Australian PGA Championship, again the New South Wales Open and the Australian Masters - a tournament he three times victoriously ended ( 1992, 1994 and 1996). On the European Tour Parry could previously get six titles, most recently in 2005, the Heineken Classic, an event that had previously been dominated by three South African golfer Ernie Els exception.

Parry recorded the European Tour regularly in the years 1988 to 1991, where he was third in 1989 and 1991, fifth on the money list. Since 1992 he has been primarily on the North American PGA TOUR on the road, where he has since recorded two victories. Parry, though, stands in front of around the globe.

He was a member of the International Team in the Presidents Cup in 1994, 1996 and 1998 and represented his country five times in the Dunhill Cup and once in the WGC - World Cup.

Parry is married, has three children and Residences in Sydney and in Orlando, Florida. Because of its very strong and pronounced forearms he is called by his colleagues golfers also "Mr. Popeye ".
