Creation Is Crucifixion is an American metal band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, founded in 1997.

History

The band was founded in early 1997. After a solid cast had gathered, the band signed a contract with King of the Monsters Records, what the EP Dethrone or Devour appeared. Over the next eight months, the band worked on their debut album, released in 1998 under the name In_Silico at King of the Monsters Records. In 1998 followed on Willowtip Records, a split release with Fate of Icarus. Shortly afterwards closed over Cyberdine243 Records to a second split release with Suicide Nation. Through these publications tape reached the possibility for multiple tours: The first tour took place in the summer of 1998 on a month instead of before the winter of 1998 /1999 second tour with Fate of Icarus followed. After that, the band wrote on material for a split release together with balance, which also appeared in Willowtip Records. In addition, the EP was released in 1999 on Automata Cyberdine243 Records. In the summer of 2000, followed a month-long U.S. tour. In the same year, the band also the songs of her three previously published split Publications resumed to publish this in early 2001 as an EP with Willowtip Records. In the same year, the band also finished a month-long winter tour in the U.S., after which in May 2001 was followed by the first performances in Europe. In Germany, the band then the EP Child as Audience took, which appeared on her own label Hactivist Media. After that, the band moved its headquarters to San Francisco before, in August 2001 the album was released Destructivist. In September, followed by a five -month tour, including two in Europe. After that, the band worked on other songs. Currently it is in a pause, with drummer Laughlin was also temporarily employed by Cattle Decapitation.
