Cree Lake

Cree Lake is a lake in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

The lake has a water surface of 1228 km ² and a total area including islands of 1434 km ², making it the fourth largest in the province. It is located west of Reindeer Lake and southeast of Lake Athabasca. The Cree River drains the lake to the north.

The lake is not accessible via highways. However, there are seaplanes, which drive the lake. Cree Lake ( Crystal Lodge ) Airport is an airstrip, which, a "fly - in fishing lodge", combines Crystal Lodge with the outside world. There are no settlements on the shores of Lake Cree.

Fauna

The following fish species are found in the Cree Lake: Walleye, American perch, pike, American char, Heringsmaräne, Coregonus, burbot, Arctic grayling, Catostomus commersonii and Catostomus catostomus.
