Creirwy

Creirwy is in Celtic mythology of Wales, a legendary figure from the story Hanes Taliesin ( "History of Taliesin ").

Mythology

Creirwy is extraordinarily beautiful sister of the ugly Morfran, also called Afaggdu. Her mother is the witch Ceridwen, her father Tegid Foel. She also has a half brother Gwion Bach, who was named Taliesin after his reincarnation. She was born to be Penllyn in the region Powys.

Creirwy is not mentioned to her brothers Afaggdu and Taliesin in the further course of the stories.
