Criobolium
As Kriobolion (Greek κριοβόλιον, latin criobolium ) the sacrifice of a ram is called in the ancient religion, especially in the area of Cybele - Attis cult.
It corresponded to the sacrifice of a bull at taurobolium and was probably mostly held in connection with this.
A competition of ephebes in Pergamum, in which a ram was caught and sacrificed, was also called Kriobolion.
