Crispin Bonham-Carter

Crispin Bonham - Carter ( born September 23, 1969) is a British theater and film actor and theater director.

Life

Crispin Bonham - Carter was born in 1969 as son of Peter Malcolm Bonham - Carter and Clodagh Greenwood. His father is a third cousin of actress Helena Bonham Carter. After graduating from the University of St Andrews in Scotland in 1992, Crispin Bonham - Carter played a small supporting role in the British literary film Howards End ( Howards End, 1992). He then appeared primarily in British television, playing alongside but also theater, where he often was used also as a director.

He gained international fame as a lovable Mr. Bingley in the BBC television miniseries Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice, 1995) starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. In 2001 he was also seen in the U.S. television series, such as in Relic Hunter - The Treasure Hunter ( Relic Hunter) and ER - Emergency Room (ER). In 2001, he was also seen in the music video of the song Uptown Girl of the Irish band Westlife.

He and his wife Katherine Julian Dawnay he has four sons: Arthur Thomas Patrick Bonham - Carter (* 1997), Christopher Ruan Bonham Carter (* 1999), Stanley Peter Bonham - Carter (* 2002) and Frank Douglas Bonham - Carter (* 2006 ).
