Cristián Bejarano

Cristián Bejarano ( born July 25, 1981 in Chihuahua ) is a former Mexican boxer.

Bejarano won the 1999 bronze medal of the Pan American Games in the Lightweight (-60 kg) and 2000 after wins over Gilbert Khunwane, Botswana ( 17:5 ), Gheorghe Lungu, Romania ( 14:11 ), and Almazbek Raimkulov, Kyrgyzstan ( 14:12), and a semi-final defeat against Andreas Kotelnik, Ukraine ( 22:14 ), the bronze medal of the Olympics. He also won in 1999 and 2000, the silver medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games.

2001 Bejarano turned pro and won his first 14 fights unterklassige opponents. After another victory over former world champion César Bazán Bejarano in 2007 ended his career, although unbeaten but also to have won without ever major trophy.
