Crocket

In art history, crab is a technical term for carved, stone, wrinkled bent leaves, starting with simple work in the early Gothic to the minutest ornaments in the late Gothic period, were created as decorative elements on buildings. It is also referred to as Kriechblume. In most cases, they are located on slopes of gables, pinnacles and spiers, where it appears that they crawl up them.
