The Crooked Creek Township is one of eight townships in Bollinger County in the southeast of the U.S. state of Missouri.

Geography

The Crooked Creek Township is located in the middle of the southeast Missouri. The Mississippi River, which forms the border with Illinois, is located approximately 60 km east of Crooked Creek Township. The border with Arkansas is located around 130 km south.

The Township covers 219.49 km ², spread over 219.29 km ² land and 0.20 km ² water surface.

Adjacent in Bollinger County are the Union Township in the north, the Whitewater Township in the northeast, the Scopus Township to the east, the Lorance Township in the southeast and the Filmore Township in the south. In the West, Crooked Creek Township is adjacent to the Madison County.

Traffic

Through the Crooked Creek Township runs north to south, the Missouri State Route 51, which applies to a number of minor roads within the Township.

About 3 km south of the township is located on the Twin City Airpark, a small airfield.

Population

In the census in 2010, the township had 1234 inhabitants.
