Cross moline

The anchor cross is a cross symbol in which all arms (both beams ) are of equal length. With respect to the base form, it is therefore a Greek cross. All arms end anchor-shaped. In religious crosses this form is rarely used. (Currently (2004): only Malta: Order of Merit, San Marino: Order of Saint Marinus ). In the Teutonic Order until 1945, the anchor cross was never used.

In heraldry it is a common figure and is also known as wall anchor cross.

The anchor is also a heraldic symbol for faith.
