Crystal Palace transmitting station

The Crystal Palace transmitter (Crystal Palace Tower ) is a radio transmitter in the London Borough of Bromley. The same transmission tower with a height of 222 meters since the completion of One Canada Square, the Heron Tower and The Shard of the the fourth- tallest building in the city.

The radio tower Crystal Palace is a freestanding, grounded, not accessible to the public steel truss tower, which was built in 1950 and serves as a transmission tower for FM, TV and medium wave. The antennas for FM and TV are located on the top of the Crystal Palace Towers, which also carries the nickname of London Eiffel Tower. As a transmitting antenna for medium wave is a long wire antenna, whose ultimate end of the tower and its lowermost end is anchored to the ground.
