CSKA Sofia (ice hockey)

The HK CSKA Sofia is the ice hockey department of the sports club CSKA Sofia Bulgarian from Sofia, which belongs to the Bulgarian Hockey League. His plays are borne by the club from the Winter Palace.

History

The HK CSKA Sofia, who took until 1964 under the name ZDNA Sofia, has so far been 14 times Bulgarian champions and thus to HK Slawia Sofia ( 18 items), the second most successful team in the country. CSKA that dominated especially towards the end of the 1960s and early 1970s, the Bulgarian Hockey, recently won the 1986 championship title. After almost 20 years in mediocrity CSKA was in the years 2008 and 2009 runner-up behind HK Slawia Sofia and won first time in 2013 after 27 years again the championship. In addition, twelve times the club won the National Hockey Cup (most recently 1987).
