CSM Dunărea Galaţi

The Clubul Sportiv Municipal Dunărea Galaţi is an ice hockey club from Galati, Romania, whose Gladiator seniors team plays in the Romanian Hockey League.

History

After 1932, the first team of Gloria CSU participated in the Ice Hockey Championship, was in 1950 with Lokomotiva Galaţi a club in the second division. The only success in the club's history was winning the Romanian Ice Hockey Cup 1988.

Venue

The club plays its games at the ice rink " Dunărea ". The ice rink was built in 1970 and bordered 5,000 ( according to other sources 4000 ) viewers.
