CSM n.v. is a Dutch corporation headquartered in Diemen. The company is the world's largest supplier of ingredients for the baking industry as well as world market leader in the production of lactic acid and its derivatives. CSM supplies in addition to the food industry, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The business activities of the originally established as a sugar factory in 1919 the company is divided into the divisions CSM Bakery Supplies Europe (development, production and sales of bakery ingredients.
