The Palace of Culture of National Minorities (Chinese Minzu Wénhuàgōng民族文化 宫) in Beijing was one of the "Ten large building " ( "十大 建筑" ) in the style of "socialist classicism " for the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China to the design of architect Zhang Bo张 镈built and is used inter alia as a museum ( 50,000 exhibits, permanent exhibition about the material culture of the national minorities of China ), library (60 million volumes ), theater and hotel. He has a construction area of ​​32,000 square meters. The main building has 13 floors and is 67 meters high. The facade of the building is white and the building has a traditional -sounding roof with blue glazed tiles. The entrance is decorated with the Chinese words "团结" ( "Solidarity ") and "进步" ( "Progress ").
