Curitiba Brazil Temple

The Curitiba Temple is the 126th temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the 5th. Brazil and the largest in southern Brazil It is located in the district of Campo Comprido in Curitiba. He is clad in white granite and wears an angel Moroni on top of the tower. It has an area of 2590 square meters with two Endowmenträumen and two sealing rooms.

The temple is of 21 " piles " (with the dioceses of the Catholic Church comparable municipal mergers ) used of Latter -day Saints in the States of Paraná and Santa Catarina.

The construction was announced on 23 August 2002 and commenced on 10 March 2005. He was ordained June 1, 2008 by Thomas S. Monson.
