Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones ( born April 26, 1968 in Chicago), known as Green Velvet ( Cajmere also in earlier years ), is a DJ and producer in the electronic music scene.
He first began under the stage name Green Velvet (German "Green Velvet " ) his DJ career, he later used this name for his non- vocal releases that he brought out from the mid- 90s.
Towards the end of the 90 Green Velvet supplemented his DJ activities increasingly live gigs, further raising his work as a producer in the foreground. 1999 appears on the Belgian label Music Man with Constant Chaos, the debut album by Green Velvet. A short time later his tracks of recent years are published on two compilations. The breakthrough occurs mainly in 2001 with his album Whatever and contained the hit single on La La Land. This was the first song that found its way into the charts. Green Velvet at that time was already an internationally known size in the techno scene.
